LIL VIBES PROJECT
The LIL VIBES PROJECT is a comprehensive 12-session project designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of emotional literacy and self-regulation. Through a mix of guided activities and free exploration, this project provides a safe and engaging space for 5 to 7-year-olds to explore their inner world. It aims to build a strong foundation of emotional resilience, self-confidence, and healthy social connections, preparing them for future personal and academic growth.
The primary purpose of the LIL’ VIBES PROJECT is to equip young children with a foundational understanding of their feelings and thoughts, enabling them to navigate their emotions and build positive relationships with others. The project focuses on making these concepts accessible and fun, transforming abstract ideas into concrete, manageable skills.
Specifically, the project seeks to:
- Strengthen children’s awareness of their own feelings and thoughts.
- Introduce strategies for emotional regulation and managing difficult feelings.
- Develop basic empathy and perspective-taking skills.
- Build confidence and a positive sense of self.
- Foster collaborative and communicative skills.
By focusing on these core areas, the project lays a crucial groundwork for children to thrive in social and educational settings.
