Sheree Jonas is the Founder and Director of Represent Us Rural Ltd, a Community
Interest Company committed to amplifying the voices of marginalised groups across
Wales. With a deep-rooted passion for equity and inclusion, Sheree has become a
dedicated advocate for systemic change, particularly within organisations and
educational institutions.

Her commitment to inclusive practices was exemplified during her time as Race
Equality Officer at Aberystwyth University, where she played a pivotal role in
supporting the institution to achieve its Bronze Race Equality Charter award. Guided
by empathy and lived experience, Sheree uses her platforms to promote positive and
impactful advocacy, ensuring that underrepresented voices are not only heard but
actively involved in shaping solutions.

Sheree holds a Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in
Social Care Studies. Her academic journey served as the catalyst for her work in
equalities, revealing a clear disconnect between policy and the lived experiences of
marginalised communities. Determined to bridge this gap, Sheree has since gone on
to deliver race equality training to students at Coleg Sir Gâr, the institution where she
once studied.

Through her leadership and tireless advocacy, Sheree continues to champion
inclusive change and challenge the structures that perpetuate inequality across rural
Wales and beyond.
